Default Using Media Splitter with Windows Media Centre Files

Hi Everyone

I wonder if anyone knows how to get this program to recognise the audio content of a windows media centre file (recorded from TV). The video is shown as mpeg2 but the audio as unknown. Is this a feature that's not available at present in media splitter or am I possibly doing something wrong.

I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit.

Thanks
