Unable to Split

I've run into a problem editing a couple of YouTube videos. After I edit and click "out", I get the message "SolveigMM Video Editing Engine error" or "CDS Player:

n StartD". Is there another way to edit these types of videos. I haven't a clue why I'm unable to edit. Is there another way to edit these videos, for example, using Adobe Premiere Elements or Pinnacle? I'd prefer to use Replay Splitter to edit these videos. Please advise me. Thank you.
