FVP shuts down

Hi, I'm new here. Just registered the Replay Media Catcher today and was able to play the first file in FVP by opening it directly from the RMC program. Since then, I've been opening the Flash Video Player and trying to select a file to play. The instant I click on the link to browse for a file, or use the CTRL-O, the player crashes and shuts down completely. I'm running XP Pro and have restarted Windows and shut down all other programs and the FVP still crashes every time. Have put in a tech support request but thought maybe somebody here could answer this problem. Thanks in advance.
