Problem with new Join Feature
I've just downloaded the new version with the join feature
Tried to join three mp3's created in 'splitter' and got this error message 'Creating SolveigMM File Writer has been faield (Class not registered hr = 0x80040154) Which is shame - because this would be really usefulhttp://forum.applian.com/images/smilies/mad.gif

Please uninstall the program. Now, reboot your system. Go into program files and delete any reference to our program that you see. Download the program again and save it to your system. Now install the program and see if that corrects the problem you are having. If not let us know in tech support. Thanks.

Problem w/ Join feature of new Splitter
I have the same problem with splitter as riv-dogg. I get two errors, one exactly like riv-dogg's and the other is "Can't start trim process for current task. (return value 0x800400154 (class not registered)) (unspecified error hr= 0x80004005). Splitter version is 1.6.903.3 downloaded 3/10/09. I followed the Cheryl's (Tech Support) suggestions with no change in problem, symptoms, or error messages. I was attempting to join *.avi files.

Join Feature still fails
Latest version 1.6.903.3 trying to join WMV files...
• Creating SolveigMM File Writer has been failed (Class not registered hr = 0x80040154) • Can’t start trim process for current task. (return value 0x80040154 (Class not registered)) (Unspecified error hr = 0x80004005) Has anyone achieved success

I have the same problem with wmv files. I uninstall and even remove entries from my registry 4 times. The join did work last night. It even gave me a message that my files are the wrong parameters. I do not even get that message anymore. I just get 'Creating SolveigMM File Writer has been faield (Class not registered hr = 0x80040154) and Can’t start trim process for current task. (return value 0x80040154 (Class not registered)) (Unspecified error hr = 0x80004005)
