Rhapsody and RM3 - Diff. Take

Was having no difficulty at all using RM and Rhapsody until last night, the 2nd of January. After entering information after hitting "record" button, song played, no time elapsed for recording, no "waves" in the box...nothing at all. Tried uninstalling and putting it back on, but still nothing. This was for my new laptop which I've had about a month and again, it did work previously. After this problem, I went back to my desktop and was able to record what I wanted. Both have Vista by the way.

Any suggestions as to what I can try to get my RM working on my laptop again. Maybe I hit a button or something. I need some ideas of what to try. Any help is appreciated!
