I keep getting the following error message when I try to open my recorded video in quicktime ... Please put me on the right track

Well, quicktime player is not able to play back ALL file types.

Lets start with the basics please, and please be more detailed in future posts.

1. What recording software are you using?
2. Specifically, Can you please provide me with the URL of the video(s) you're trying to record and playback using quicktime?
3. What happens when you try playing back the recorded video with another media player (i.e. windows media player, flv player, real player, etc).

We'll move forward accordingly based on your responses.

Most likely you will need to rename the file extension. If it is MP4 change this to .mov. Let me know if this helps.
