Can't get NPR to stream

Hi,

Just installed A/V 8 and am able to get various radio show URL's to capture but when I go to NPR and play archives ie "Fresh Air" "This American Life" etc there is no capture of the URL. I can record it directly from the speakers but
the sound is jittery. Any hints?

Hi,

The archives on NPR.org play within Adobe Flash Player and can be captured using Replay Media Catcher.

NPR.org seems to use a specific streaming technology that is not compatible with Replay AV's URL Finder technology but is easily captured by Replay Media Catcher: http://applian.com/download-videos/
You can open Replay Media Catcher, click Start Recording and then playthe archive on NPR. Once opened, it can be closed and the file will be captured in its entirety. This allows you to play a subsequent archive that will also be downloaded, and so on. The files are saved in MP3 format.
