Replay Media Splitter: Failed to register COM (ActiveX) control

Replay Media Splitter will not install properly. The following message keeps appearing: Failed to register COM (ActiveX) control: E: Program filex\replay media splitter\SS_Trimmer.ax Failure in load library ) (126).

If I ignore this message and continue the following message then appears: The following components are required but not found: SolvegMJtrimmer filter.
I am using Window 7.

Can anyone be of help please? Thank you in anticipation:confused:

Please make sure you are installing the latest version and that you are running the program with administrative rights.

Followed your instructions i.e I first uninstalled the existing software, downloaded version 1.7, (using administrator's rights) without any luck. The same error message appears.
