RECORD was working... it quit working, I uninstalled, re-installed

XP sp3 Firefox 3.5.2 Sophos anti-virus

NOW... when trying to record... (via launching from file or from toolbar)

Error: "Could not initialize audio device"

"be sure AARAudio.exe is not running via Task Manager"

AARAudio IS running when this message is up, but killing the process does not free RECORD to run. AARAudio.exe IS NOT running prior to trying to launch record from a file or toolbar.

What Audio Capture Settings (http://applian.com/asktoolbar/help.php#settings) do you have? "Record using Applian Audio Driver" checked and "Record using Windows Vista Audio Technology" unchecked?

I am having the same problem. Record was working, stopped, uninstalled, reinstalled, using XP sp3 and Firefox 3.0.14 though. AARAUDIO is not running, not showing up at in Task Manager. Please help
