Which technology to choose>

This is a fab little gadget, but can someone please tell me how do I decide which technology to use?

Windows Vista Audio Technology or Appian Audio Driver Technology?

I am using Vista.

I've got Vista Home Premium and I use Vista Audio Technology. It seems to work OK for me. To be honest, I can't remember if that was the default, if I deliberately chose one or the other and if so why. That's not much help is it!
