A&R doesn't record audio from PC - web ok.

Hi - I've installed both Freecorder (because it records audio from both the web and the PC's dvds - i.e. anything I can hear from the speakers) and the A&R toolbar. But the A&R toolbar only records audio from the web! Is that the way it's supposed to work? Isn't the A&R toolbar supposed to record anything from the speakers too?

The Ask & Record toolbar is meant to capture audio from teh web. It will not record from your microphone or input devices.

Record Audio from ANY Site

For sites that make it difficult to download audio files you can use the Record Audio tool to make MP3 files from ANYTHING you hear on your PC. Ask & Record Toolbar comes with two different recording technologies, just in case your PC doesn't support one of them.

The above does say ANYTHING it should say providing it is not Line In.

Can, Ask Freecorder be used in other browsers like Maxthon etc Like others I cannot get Ask to work in Firefox 3.5.1. Excellent in IE8

Freecorder Toolbar will work in Firefox 3.5.1 but the sound quality is not a patch on the Ask version.

Is it possible to turn the Video recording side off and only use it if required.
