View Full Version : Display of My Email in Replay Guide Won't Stop

I was wondering why I was getting so much spam. People in Nigeria who need money. Banks who want me to help fight identify theft by sending them my password. Magic pills that will turn me into John Holmes.

Now I know.

My email address was all over the Replay Guide. (Thank you, very much!)

I had written reviews of some shows and podcasts. Log in asks for my email address and password. The profile page recommends NOT using the email address as a handle. I didn't. But somewhere along the line, the handle I entered disappeared and my email address became my handle.

I went back to the profile change and entered my handle and then a new handle. I saw the message that my profile was updated. Only it wasn't. My email address still appeared with my reviews in the guide. I went back to the profile page and the email address still appeared as my handle (right above where it says don't use your email address).

What's going on here?

I have deleted all my reviews and ratings.

This sort of thing does not encourage ratings and reviews in the Replay Guide.:confused:

Problem still not solved (and no response from Applian). My guide profile still shows my email address as my handle and trying to change it still does not work.

What's the problem here? Is this affecting anyone else?

This is the first time I have heard of this complaint. I have not had it at all before. I am going to pass this on. If you continue to have an issue please contact tech support for this issue as that is where you will get the quickest response. Thanks.
