View Full Version : Can Record Audio only once per session

Hi,

I think this toolbar is great. However, I can only record one audio session. After that, none of the other buttons work, not Play, Settings, none of them. I have to close Firefox and reopen. If I click Play the next time, then the other buttons don't work. I have to reboot the browser again, and so on. Is this a bug with the new Firefox? It's very irritating. Not horrible, but still hopefully fixable.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Jim

I've started getting exactly the same problem since upgrading to FF 3.5. Worked great with 3.0 but now can only perform one action (record/play/convert/save) and then it stops responding until I restart FF. Great toolbar but this is really annoying.

We are seeing some compatibility issues with the latest browser versions. I have been told that Ask will be sending us a new toolbar build in about a month that should clear these problems up. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Have a look at the other threads on this forum. Other people are seeing this problem, me included. One poster found that it is possible to run the programs directly via a shortcut rather than having to click on the toolbar buttons. Not quite as slick as using the toolbar but you don't have to keep restarting Firefox.

On my Vista PC, the programs are in C:\Program Files\Ask & Record Toolbar, and the names are fairly obvious. The Record program is AARRecord.exe, Settings is AARSettings.exe, etc.
