when I convert the files I keep getting error msgs (Newbie need help)

Ive downloaded the ask and record toolbar and recorded several videos, the problem is when I convert the files I keep getting error msgs. Ive tried to unistall and reinstall the toolbar but get the same error msgs. please can someone help Me

Hi jescal,

I am not understanding your problem ... if you have downloaded the Videos just fine ... then the problrm is NOT the Ask & Record Toolbar and Your Converter is the problem!!!

Q1: What are you converting? Form what format to what?

Q2: What program are you using for your Conversions?

Q3: What is your OS? e.g. Vista Home Prem., 64-Bit or what not?

I using vista 64 bit. Im trying to convert from flv to avi using the conversion feature on the toolbar itself so then I can convert the avi file to vob to place on a cd. The error Msg I get is that the program must close and then it says if I want to look for solutions online but nothing happens. I hope that makes sense....

Oh I see ... I guess then try some other Independant FLV to AVI converter.

I found this "Online Converter" ... vixy.net (http://vixy.net/) ... I persoanlly have not used it since I watch FLV's directly on my laptop ...

Post back your experience on Vixy ... for the benefit of the next person!
