Hello, I often have trouble getting my freecorder to record streaming online radio. Can anyone give me some answers as to why I'm encountering this problem so often. Thnx.

Are you using the desktop version or the toolbar verson? What version of windows do you have? What is your sound card? The more info we have the easier it is for someone to help you.

The toolbar version. Microsoft windows xp professional and my sound card is intel(r) 82801aa ac'97.

I was having the same problem and here's how I corrected it. I don't know why this works, but it does for me. There's a music player at the far right of the toolbar. If I start it playing, wait about 30 seconds, and then click Record, my recorder starts working. Thin I stop the music player. From then on, I can record anything that comes over the speakers. Try this and see if it works for you.
