Hi everyone. I have a problem.

Every time i try to record i get this message :
“Nothing was recorded. No file will be saved. Please try a different line to record from in freecorder’s settings”

I think the problem is that on the section “sound and audio configuration” where it says “line” there is no option to choose from (it is empty).
What should i do???

Please reply and sorry for my terrible english.

Are you using the desktop version of Freecorder or the toolbar? Thanks for clarifying.

What do you have for your sound card? Set that up for the default and then see what shows up under line in. Also, what version of windows are you using?

In most cases the Freecorder desktop version will not work with Vista. You need to try the toolbar. It does work with Vista.

You can download the toolbar here (http://applian.com/sound-recorder/). Make sure that if you are using Internet Explorer that you are running it as administrator.
Right click on the icon for IE and choose "Run as Administrator".
